Dr. Eman Sobh is an assistant professor of Chest Diseases, Faculty of Medicine for Girls, Al-Azhar University, Egypt & College of Medical Rehabilitation Sciences, Taibah University, Saudi Arabia. She is the Director of Science and Communications, African Science Frontiers Initiatives (ASFI), and co-convener of ASFI’s monthly science seminar series. Dr. Sobh obtained a Master’s degree and Ph.D./Medical Doctorate from Al-Azhar University, Egypt. She is a certified trainer for scientific writing and publishing and soft skills. She is an enthusiastic and motivated person. has a passion for education and capacity building in science and research. She delivered several training programs in soft skills, scientific writing, and publishing and participated in several conferences and scientific events. She has published about 80 journal papers and participated in three book chapters. Her research interests include respiratory diseases, smoking cessation, health education, and capacity building. One of her interests is engaging the public and patients in science and research and she has participated in several campaigns for raising public awareness and health education.
