Meenakshi Datta Ghosh, an independent, multidisciplinary, development professional, specializes at the interface of governance, public health and public policy. Across the social sector (Health, Population, Rural Local Government and Panchayati Raj, Urban Housing and Municipal Governance, Tourism, Industry, Grievance Redressal, Conservation for Nature, and Independent Evaluation), Ms. Ghosh has addressed multiple aspects of Government to Citizen [GtoC] services, as in policy formulation, program development, implementation, appraisal, and evaluation.
Ms. Ghosh, a career bureaucrat, has held inter alia, several positions in Government of India and across Union Territory administrations, indicated below.
Ms. Ghosh has worked with WHO, UNFPA, UNICEF, UNDP, IPPF (International Planned Parenthood Federation), ESCAP, the Ford Foundation, the Clinton Foundation, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, as well as the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria, focusing on HIV/AIDS, maternal, and neo-natal health, livelihoods and poverty alleviation. Ms. Ghosh has been Consultant with FAO Bangkok; UNDP, Manila and with Asian Development Bank (External Reviewer, `ADB Strategy to combat HIV/AIDS in the Asia Pacific Region).
