I’m Alie Kamara a passionate youth and human rights advocate. Born in PortLoko District in the Northeast region of Sierra Leone in a smaller community that’s exposed to several forms of child exploitation and abuse and also illiterate youth. In my early youthful days I left to further my studies at the capital where I sat to the WASSCE exams but couldn’t proceed to the university due to my financial background. Currently back in my community I’ve be an active human rights advocate and feminist and I’ve worked with different organizations where I served in different capacities. Youth Alliance for Better Future Sierra Leone; i served as country director, Mano River Union Farmers Organization, Regional Coordinator and I’m also work as a community paralegal to help promote access to justice for community people In 2021 I did two short term courses with YALI Network on *Community Journalism: Basic Principles for Effective Storytelling* and *Advancing the Role of Women in Politics, Peace and Security, and Economic Institutions* I’m currently using my skills and knowledge to impact lives and transform communities for a sustainable and reproductive future for all.
